Mary Jane "Janie" Morford



Mary Jane Morford 1944 ~ 2003 Mary Jane "Janie" Morford, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home while surrounded by her family on October 28, 2003, two days prior to her 59th birthday. She suffered from Fibromyalgia for 13 years followed by a lengthy battle with Melanoma. Mary Jane was born on October 30, 1944 in San Diego, CA. She was sealed to her sweetheart on November 1, 1983 in the Idaho Falls Temple. She is survived by her beloved husband, John (Jack) Morford; parents, Joseph (Daisy) Price of El Cajon, CA and Rasmina (Milton) Beck of Rexburg, ID; brothers, Lynn, Gerald, Tom, Rahn, and sister Debbie; children, Jennie Rae (Chris) Lucas, Lara Jane (Eddie) Justeson, Matthew David (Angelica) Nichols, Shannon Jo (Richard) Williams, Jared Anton (Melissa) Nichols, Amy Lucetta Nichols; step-children, Holly (Howard) Bennion, Andrew (Trina), Quentin (Michelle), Marsh (Alisa), Sara (Nick) Warnick, Amie (Brian) Radford; and 25 grandchildren. Mary Jane Graduated from Helix High School in La Mesa, CA in 1962 and then attended BYU. She loved creating. She owned a ceramic shop in Sugar City, Idaho and later started her own small business selling dolls and patterns locally and internationally. She was given the "Crafter of the Month" award at the Quilted Bear in Sandy, UT. Her family was the center of her life. She wanted nothing more than for her family to be happy. Mary Jane had a wonderful sense of humor and was joking and teasing her family up through the last hours of her life. Her family and loved ones will miss her dearly.
